Zamir’s grandson, Syed Ali Ehtasham (1981 – 2014) was determined to carry out the legacy left behind, and established the SZJ foundation in July 2010, when the country was hit by one of the most catastrophic floods, affecting the lives of over 20 million people. Ali and his father Syed Ehtisham Zamir co-founded the non-profit foundation and provided aid to the underprivileged communities of Pakistan.
Mata-e-Zamir was established in 2008 by Syed Zamir Jafri’s Son Syed Ehtasham Zamir and Syed Imtanan Zamir it comprises of his poetry ,52 books and contributions made for the Urdu language.
